Development of minimum communications circuits from seven basic speech acts

Instrument 1: analysis and record of speech acts

It allows to assess and record quantitatively and qualitatively verbal manifestations and pre-linguistic and paralinguistic expressions of seven basic speech acts expected in children language development and its coherence with the communicative situation. It consists of 85 items with different response categories (57 through Likert scale).

Material
• Concrete and figurative material created ad hoc (two prints and two shape sorting games), in addition to a couple of elements coming from the child’s home and previously requested to his/her parents.
• Recording sheets for analysis and documentation of speech acts.
• Recording sheets for scores and percentiles.

• Video recording for subsequent transcription and analysis.
